Born in North Yorkshire, Blakey is now based in London, her work spanning across many disciplines, from stage, screen and collaborations with visual artists globally.
Recent choreographic credits include fashion films for Gucci, Dior, Paul Smith, Very.co.uk, Dazed & Confused, Christie's, Nowness, and Details Magazine. Music video credits include work for Coldplay, Young Fathers, Jack Garratt, Leanne La Havas, and Jessie Ware. Her work with Florence and the Machine on the video ‘Deliliah’ saw her win an MVA Award for Best Choreography 2016 (beating Beyonce and Missy Elliott) and was nominated for a 2016 VMA Award. Her work on the video "Can't Do" for Everything Everything won her a 2017 Ibiza Music Video Festival award for best choreography.
Holly created the master piece that is 'Some Greater Class' which was commissioned by Hales Gallery and generously supported by Arts Council England. She has also collaborated with artist such as Hannah Perry for work show at the super hip Boiler Room as well as the Serpentine Gallery.
Holly is the 2017 recipient of the Kevin Spacey Artist of Choice Award for Dance .
